Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their state championship today.  The team was led by all state runners Greg Bohmke (11th) and Ian MacLeod (14th).  Despite being down early the boys were able to run tough and pass many key individuals in the final stretch to edge runner-up Albemarle 87-102 (low score wins).  Also running for Stafford were Joey Abbatiello (25th), Brandon Hinton (34th), Chapin Baxter (45th), Ryan Hazelgren (92nd) and Tanner Wentladt (98th).  The boys worked extremely hard all season and are now looking at trying to qualify for the Nike Cross Nationals meet as one of the top 2 teams in the Southeast US.
