Both the girls and boys varsity cross country teams will be competing in the states meet.

The boys varsity team placed 2 out of 12 teams. Senior Philip Lambert lead the team and placed second overall. He was closely followed by junior Paul Sepulveda who took home the third-place medal. Sophomore Dalton Oylear also had an impressive run and managed to capture fifteenth place.

The varsity girls cross country team is pictured here praying together and encouraging one another to do well in their race. The girl’s prayers were answered and they are now advancing onto the states meet after taking third place in the region.

Junior Mimi Lambert placed fourth overall, and her sister, freshman Greta Lambert, placed eleventh overall.

The girls cross country team poses outside of a Sheets which is where they go to refuel in their post-meet ritual. On Nov. 10, the two teams will be running hard in the states meet at Great Meadows Farm.
